Windsor Law LTEC Lab is looking for Research Assistant(s) (preferably 1L or 2L Windsor Law students) for the Winter term 2023, with a possibility for extension in the summer and fall terms 2023.
Under the supervision of Professor Pascale Chapdelaine (Director of Windsor Law LTEC Lab) the selected RA(s) will work in teams with other RAs, provide ongoing administrative support (which may include ongoing maintenance of website, social media presence, writing short posts, helping in the organization of seminars/conference). The RA may also be involved in drafting and coordinating scientific grant applications, write short blogs about substantive law and technology related issues, or about events hosted by Windsor Law LTEC Lab.
Applicants should have:
Excellent communication and writing skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Knowledge and interest in intellectual property and law and technology issues
Initiative and the ability to work independently
Availability and some flexibility to cover events/work on reasonably short notice (hours will vary; on average around 5-10 hours per week)
Experience in web maintenance/poster design, photography, as well as in scientific grant applications an asset
Rate of Pay: $17.68/hour
